In Turkey you drive on the right. Speed limits depend on the type of road, so always follow local signs. Do not drink and drive: police can fine drivers and confiscate licences.
Roads between major cities are generally in very good condition, but surfaces can be poorer in remote areas. Take extra care at night, and approach checkpoints slowly.
Many motorways and major bridges use the electronic HGS toll system rather than cash. Our cars are fitted with an HGS sticker.

Yes. Rentals include full insurance with €0 excess and breakdown assistance. Coverage remains subject to the rental terms, including exclusions and the conditions for using the vehicle.
Can I rent a car in Turkey without a deposit?
Rentiago does not require a damage deposit. A separate refundable fuel deposit applies: €75 for Mini and Economy cars, €100 for other categories. Credit and debit cards are both accepted.
What do I need to rent a car in Turkey?
A valid driving licence, a passport and a payment card. Depending on where your licence was issued, you may also need an International Driving Permit. The minimum age is 21. A young driver fee applies to drivers aged 21–23.
Can I cancel my booking?
With the Flexibility Package, at €2.30 per day, you can cancel up to 24 hours before pick-up.
